Description
This piece is demanding for both the flutist and the pianist. While the melody is catchy and will stick in your mind the pianist will have to work hard to keep their wrists loose with the constant triplet figures. The second movement was inspired by Janecek and requires a constant inner tempo from both performers. The third movement, although a rondo, is a torrent of emotion, half phrases, and time signature changes.
